Everything happens for a reason

“Everything happens for a reason” 

this is what people always say

but what if I can’t find the one

the reason that you didn’t stay.

Why did you betray me?

Why didn’t you care?

Why were you the one who left?

And how is this even fair?

The pain is so unbearable 

which makes me kind of wonder why

why did this had to happen to me 

what’s the biggest reason for which I now cry?

“Everything happens for a reason

 we always get out stronger”

but what if we didn’t have to go through this

and wait so much longer.

Tougher lessons every time

and it seems to get so hard

I don’t want any more lessons

I think I’ve had my part.
